It's week three and things are getting juicy! This week Emily went on two one-on-one dates and one group date. Chris got the first 1 on 1. My first impression of Chris was that he is very immature and not ready to be a husband and a father. Their date was cute! Chris was able to show Emily that he could be supportive in times of need and be that strong man that will back her up. It was pretty scary climbing up that wall, especially with thunder and lightening! I think even though Chris was there for her and supportive, he could have talked her through it a little more and been more affectionate when they accomplished that huge feat. Doing something like that together is supposed to bring two people close together. Each week it seems Chris is complaining about something; not getting a rose, not getting a 1 on 1 date, and during their first date he was complaining about not kissing her when they got to the top. Bite the bullet and do it Chris! Put your money where your mouth is! This is definitely where Chris' immaturity comes in. If Sean or Arie were there they would have acted like real men and kissed her! Come on! Did you see the look on Emily's face when Chris said he's 25? Pure SHOCK! Yes, Emily is only 26 but she is very mature for her age, especially since having a child. She needs a guy that is a MAN who is mature and can be a husband and step into a step father role immediately. Chris cannot do that.
The group date this week was so cute! The guys had no idea what to expect but all of them rolled with the punches and handled it very well. Let's talk about Sean! Those muscles on him are amazing! You could tell that Emily's friends not only liked him because he's gorgeous but because they could really see that he has great core values that line up with Emily's. He really cares about his family and knows how to be a husband and raise children. If I were Emily I would have called off the show right then and there and picked Sean! Seriously Ryan? He not only interrupted girl time with Emily and her friends, he insulted her too! Saying that he expects her to remain in good shape when she has more children is disgusting. It just shows what kind of guy he is - A male chauvinist pig. Him saying he would still love her but not love on her as much is so disgusting. If I were Emily I would have definitely sent him home right then and there. Keeping him this week just proves to him that his pompous, arrogant attitude is okay. It was interesting to hear that Emily's friends like Doug and Sean the most. I wasn't surprised about Sean, of course but I was a little surprised about Doug. As I said before, I liked Doug the first night, but he hasn't done much to really show Emily that he is interested in her. He seems a little standoffish as well. I think the thing her friends were focusing on with Doug was simply that he has a child and they can relate with that.
Arie's date to Dollywood was well, perfect! Or pretty close to it! They seem to really connect on an emotional level as well as a physical level. Emily and Arie had their first kiss at Dollywood and that seemed perfect too!
I think Arie is definitely going to be in Emily's top three. Look out guys!
Lots happened at the cocktail party. I can't think of another word for Kalon besides disrespectful. Wow! I think my mouth dropped open when he said, "I love it when you talk but I wish you would let me finish." I'm surprised Emily didn't send him home after that and his other shenanigans. Hallelujah! Travis finally let go of Shelley! What Alessandro said wasn't a huge surprise to me. He always seemed to be very free-spirited and definitely not for Emily. He's a gypsy! It was so sweet when Emily came back into the house and was upset by what happened and Arie was right there to comfort her (and get a couple of kisses in!). Ryan's reaction to Arie consoling Emily and kissing her was ridiculous. It just shows that he is a very jealous person. It's about time someone proved that he shouldn't be as confident as he is! He's definitely in it to win it. Emily's time with Sean absolutely melted my heart! You can really tell what a sweet, down to earth guy he is. He has remained the same throughout the show and has been drama free. He and Emily had their first kiss and she looked thrilled. Sean will definitely be in the top three!
Stevie went home which definitely wasn't a surprise. I mean have they ever talked? Here's to another week of romance and roses!

Bachelorette Dish: Episode 2
Here we go! Buckle your seat belts friends! The one-on-one dates have begun! We first see a 1 on 1 date with Emily and Ryan. My first impression of Ryan: Ignorant, arrogant, narcissistic, and cocky; True? Emily planned a very low key date for Ryan to get to see her daily life as a mom. He didn't seem to have a problem with baking cookies and doing errands but he also gave off the vibe that he deserved more than that. Although he didn't let Emily know he wanted more of a glamorous date, he was definitely thinking it all along. I think she needs to watch out for Ryan as time goes on.
The group date was awesome! What better date than to put on a variety show with miss piggy and kermit? Emily can really see the guys personality and expression come out. If they can't have fun and let loose with this then they're too uptight and serious! It was also great that the proceeds were going to charity. Charlie was so sweet on this date! He really showed Emily the true him and opened up about his accident as well as his insecurities which shows that he's a real man. Go Charlie!
During the cocktail party after the show Chris was the first one to take Emily aside for personal time. Is it just me or does Chris seem like a very immature, giddy little school boy? Tonight I definitely saw the immaturity in him that really proves he's not ready for a serious relationship that includes jumping into a potential step-father role. Emily proved that she is a mature, strong woman who knows what she wants when she confronted Jef! Whoa! Jef deserved the questions that she threw at him. If he is interested in her he's gotta show it! A simple smile or wink, an effort to come talk to her, or make contact would be fine. Step it up 1 F Jef!
The drama between Kalon and the guys is intense! Kalon's arrogance is glaring right now. Stevie and him are butting heads due to the lack of time that they both have had with Emily and guys interrupting their time. Stevie comes out and says that he dislikes Kalon and then Kalon jumps down his throat and says "I wouldn't like me either if I were you bro, but fortunately I'm me." Kalon's arrogance is shining through and he is definitely not there for Emily.
Emily and Joe's date was definitely very romantic and ideal for a first date (not to mention Emily's gorgeous gown!), too bad there wasn't any chemistry. From the beginning you could tell there was no connection and potential for romantic chemistry. Aww, Joe was so cute! He is chivalrous and quite the gentleman. Just not a match!
At the rose ceremony cocktail party Arie was the first one she talked to. Arie seems like a very personable, warm guy. They had a good conversation that flowed and Emily hinted that Arie makes her very nervous (I think it's a good nervous!). The jealousy and claws came out tonight! Ryan already had a rose and is safe so why take her away and take the time away from the other guys? Selfish! Ryan presented Emily with a little present? It's not a present - its a note! A 7 page letter? That is wayyyy too much for having one date with her. Jeez! And Tony is standing right there watching her read this note? Holy awkwardness! Poor Tony! If Ryan was a gentleman he would have handed her the note and let Tony have some time with her considering Ryan already had a 1 on 1 date. Tony is so sweet! He seems so down to earth and such a good father. Although he's a great guy and might be a good fit for Emily and her life, he just doesn't seem ready to be away from his son to search for that.
Where was the Emily and Sean time? Boo! Wish there was less drama focused on at the cocktail party and more serious talks with the guys. Thats what this is all about, right? I think Emily made the right choice about sending Aaron and Kyle home. They didn't stand out and didn't seem right for her in the end. Let's see what happens next week! Cheers!

It's That Time Again For..The Bachelorette!
So Emily Maynard is the Bachelorette this season. As we know she was a fan favorite (of the guys) after Brad's season. Luckily for the guys, Emily is now single and ready to find love! I love The Bachelor, but I definitely like The Bachelorette more. There's something about the guys fighting over the girl that makes it more fun to watch as well as there is more of a focus on the dates and connections they have with her more so than the drama.
First off, I love that this season takes place in Emily's hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. It really gives the guys a chance to see Emily in her element.
The guys that really stuck out to me that first night were Sean, Arie, and Doug. Sean was the first one out of the limo. He seems like a classy, respectful, southern gentleman and on the show for the right reasons; to meet the woman of his dreams. Arie stood out number one, because of his good looks but also because he's a race car driver. Emily's fiancé was a race car driver and crashed on the way to a race which could bring back negative memories, but she could also be attracted to him because of his career and the happy memories that she's had on the track. What stood out to me about both Sean and Arie was how they didn't try to impress Emily when they met her for the first time. About 3/4 of the guys tried to impress her by riding a skateboard, arriving in a helicopter, dancing, trying to sell themselves based on their talents, talking about their children if they have them, etc. If one has to try and sell themselves to her, they either are too confident in themselves or they are not confident at all. Sean and Arie just introduced themselves, told Emily that she looked beautiful, and they are looking forward to talking to her more inside. Simple, yet sweet! Who's heart wouldn't melt seeing Sean? Blonde hair, muscles, tall, and a gorgeous smile? Yum! Doug also stood out to me. Since he has a child he can relate to Emily and her life being a single mother. Doug gave her a letter from his son which was oh so sweet, but again, a little strange the first night. Sweet gesture or trying to hard? Doug must have stood out because he got the first impression rose.
Let's talk about Kalon! Flying in on a helicopter? I mean come on! Thats a little over the top. Yes, Lindzi on Ben's season of The Bachelor came in on a horse but that showed something about her personality and her interest and love of horses. It definitely seemed like Kalon is on the show to promote himself and to look good instead of him coming on to look for love. Watch out Emily!
Jef seems really sweet and there for the right reasons. Emily said he makes her feel nerdy! That is so cute. Then we have Travis (and Shelley!). Travis brought an egg on the show? An egg named Shelley? Yes, thats right. Tony brought Emily a glass shoe, claiming that he's looking for his princess. Sweet gesture but a little over the top for the first night. I feel as though the guys who bring Emily things to prove themselves are just trying too hard. Maybe, maybe not! We shall see!
