Week in Review! :)

Where has this week gone? It went by soooo fast! Maybe it's because I caught some rays, cooked up some of my favorite recipes, and had a spa day :) Sounds about right! These kind of weeks don't come very often so live it up when you have em'!

I love going to the beach, but I especially love to get there really early in the morning and stay really late (or until the beach closes!) TRANQUILITY! <3

Cheers!

Love catching up with great friends! It was a daiquiri night! :)

I made one of my favorite dishes this week and it was oh so good! I usually grill out most of the summer and stay away from using the stove or the oven on hot days but I had to make this turkey sausage and peppers dish. It has your protein (turkey sausage), your carbs (pasta - you can use whole grain if you'd like), and tons of vegetables. It has a nice kick to it from the red pepper flakes (you can leave those out if you're not into spice). You can find the recipe on the "food" tab of my blog. Don't forget to leave comments and let me know how yours turns out! Happy cooking!

Bachelor Pad

I'm not as into Bachelor Pad as previous seasons probably because of the fans but I definitely have some favorites. Rachel and Michael seem to be the most down to earth, genuine people on the show. And who wouldn't agree that they are super cute together? I really hope they stay together during and after the show! Michael has always been one of my favorites just the way he carries himself. He is so likable and accepted by everyone in the house, which makes it easier for him to be a strong contestant and potentially win the money. I was so upset when he was sent home after home town dates on Jillian's season of The Bachelorette and I really hope he finds true love and wins the money. He deserves it! Go Michael!

I really like Lindzi too but come on, Kalon? Maybe Lindzi typically goes for the bad guy who treats women with no respect, but she seems to have herself together and knows what she wants so why give Kalon the right time of day? He is the classic narcissist who tells people what they want to hear just for him to get farther in the game. Watch out Lindzi!

Okay, lets talk about who I don't like (besides Kalon)! Ha! Chris got on my nerves on The Bachelorette and he is still getting on my nerves now. He is such a hypocrite! Let's see..We saw "mature" Chris fighting for Emily's love last season and now we see immature Chris. Let's see, which one is the real Chris? Hello! It's the immature Chris. He is so immature, we obviously know he was putting on an act around Emily, trying to fit the bill to become a potential wife and stepfather to her daughter. Good call Emily, he was totally WRONG! He is far from ready to get married and to make a commitment. He can't even decide what girl he wants to have as his partner on the show, let alone who he wants to hook up with next. Well, I mean he is so popular and good looking that hey, "it's like buying a new car..you get the nice new car smell." He's not even that good looking. Chris is the ultimate player..in the game..and with girls. Everyone would be better off getting him and Kalon out of the house ASAP!

I'm not a fan of Jaclyn, Jamie, and Blakeley, and Ed either. I never really liked Ed from the beginning when he was on Jillian's season. I didn't think he was ready to settle down and I definitely wanted her to choose Reid or Kiptyn instead but I guess Jillian figured out who the real Ed was and didn't like what she saw. I would have rather had Reid stay longer than Ed but oh well! Ed is definitely more of a strategic player than Reid and I see him staying, probably until the end. My guess is that the last two couples are Ed and Jacqueline and Michael and Rachel. Team Rachel and Michael!

Can't wait to see what happens tonight..

XOXO!

Next Bachelor?

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to hear who the next Bachelor is going to be! I loved Emiy's season of The Bachelorette and think both Sean and Arie would make great bachelors (and of course increase ratings) but I'm not a big fan of other potentials like Roberto. In order to keep the audience from past seasons engaged and interested, choosing a most recent bachelor who got sent home by Emily is ABC's best bet. There are both positive and negatives about each guy.

Sean would make such a good bachelor! He is good looking, REALLY REALLY well built, sweet, kind, very close to his family, and such a gentleman. I really think he's ready to get married and start a family. He seems perfect. But wait, no one is perfect! Sean opened up to Emily pretty quickly, like most of the guys, telling her that he was falling in love with her, and he hadn't felt that way about a girl in a long time, etc but when she asked him about his ex girlfriends on their overnight date he was hesitant to answer and give out too much information. Yes, maybe Sean had a reason for this..Maybe he didn't want to talk about his ex girlfriends and past relationships on national television, OR maybe he's not ready to open up. I'm not sure. If that is the case and he is not ready to open up to someone, the role of the bachelor would definitely not be the right fit. Let's just hope that Sean is such a gentleman that he feels bad for talking about his ex's on national TV!

If Arie is the next bachelor expect to see lots and lots of kissing! Arie is one passionate guy! I think he would make a good bachelor because he is adventurous and seems to be caring and genuine but I don't think he's ready to settle down just yet..or not as ready as Sean. His career takes him all over the world which has it's positives and negatives. Arie seems like he wants to play the field AND kiss a lot of women before he settles down with one woman!

We all know it's going to be announced very soon but I'm getting impatient! ABC had a tough decision to make but I think no matter who they choose, the show will be successful. I think you all know who I'm rooting for! Team Sean!

XOXO!

Stella & Dot Obsession

Stella & Dot Obsession
Since watching The Bachelorette and seeing Emily wearing many Stella & Dot pieces, I now have an obsession with the brand. I love all of the unique designs and that they are very diverse and can be worn with any outfit.
